Booking & Pricing

How are your prices calculated?

Every price is based on your exact property size — number of bedrooms and bathrooms — not an hourly estimate. What you see in the quote calculator is what you pay. No hidden extras.

How far in advance do I need to book?

We need at least 2 days' notice for standard bookings. If you need a clean today or tomorrow, we can usually accommodate same-day (+£60) or next-day (+£30) requests, subject to availability.

Can I use a discount code?

Yes. Use FIRST15 at checkout for 15% off your first booking, or subscribe with your email to receive an exclusive EMAIL25 code for 25% off. Only one code can be applied per booking.

Do you charge for travel?

No. All prices are inclusive — no travel, parking, or fuel surcharges for properties within our South West London coverage area.

Do I need to pay upfront?

No payment is taken when you submit a booking request. We'll contact you to confirm the date and arrange payment before the clean takes place.

The Clean

What's included in an end-of-tenancy clean?

Our EOT clean covers every room top to bottom: kitchen (including oven, fridge, freezer inside and out), all bathrooms, skirting boards, light switches, cupboards inside and out, inside windows on the ground floor, and hoovering and mopping all floors. Limescale is removed from taps and shower screens.

Do I need to be at the property during the clean?

No. You just need to provide access — a key drop, lockbox code, or concierge arrangement is fine. Many of our customers hand over keys and collect them once the clean is done.

Do your cleaners bring their own products and equipment?

Yes. Our cleaners arrive fully equipped with all professional-grade cleaning products, mops, hoovers, and tools. You don't need to provide anything.

How long will the clean take?

Estimated times are shown in the quote calculator. As a guide: 1–3 bed end-of-tenancy cleans take 3–5 hours; 4 bed takes 5–7 hours; 5 bed takes 7–9 hours. After-builders jobs take longer. These are estimates — your cleaner will stay until the job is done.

Will I get the same cleaner every time?

For one-off services like end-of-tenancy or deep cleans, we assign the best available operative for your date. For regular cleaning, we do our best to match you with a consistent cleaner, though this can't always be guaranteed.

Quality & Guarantees

What is the deposit-back guarantee?

If your landlord or letting agent raises a written cleaning complaint within 48 hours of your check-out inspection, we'll return and re-clean the affected areas free of charge. The complaint must come from your landlord or agent in writing, and the property must not have been re-accessed or re-occupied between our clean and the inspection.

Are your cleaners DBS-checked?

Yes. Every operative who works through Scrubbr is DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checked, ID-verified, and fully insured before being added to our network.

Are you insured?

Yes. All cleans are covered by public liability and employers' liability insurance. In the unlikely event of damage, contact us at help@scrubbr.co.uk and we'll work to resolve it quickly.

What if I'm not happy with the clean?

Contact us at help@scrubbr.co.uk within 48 hours and we'll assess the issue. For end-of-tenancy cleans covered by our deposit-back guarantee, we'll return at no charge. For other services, we'll work with you to find a fair resolution.

Which areas do you cover?

We cover South West London, including SW2, SW4, SW8, SW9, SW11, SW12, and surrounding postcodes. If you're unsure whether your postcode is covered, enter it in the quote form or email us at help@scrubbr.co.uk.

Can I reschedule or cancel?

Yes. Please give us as much notice as possible — ideally at least 48 hours. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a late-cancellation fee. Contact us at help@scrubbr.co.uk or call 0203 916 5472.
